There will be no baseball open gym tonight due to a basketball game.

Sign ups for a new session of the 21st Century program are here! Do you need
computer time to get your Membean, iready and IXL done? Need some yoga to
destress? Want to  build and program robots or get hands-on with Science? Well
we've got something for you! Forms will be going home today and will need to be
turned in by this Thursday. See Miss Strayer if you have any questions.

Book Reading Contest: Fill out a book review form for each book you read from
now until the end of January. The forms are located in the Media Center. The
classroom that reads the most books will receive some free books from the next
book fair. In addition, the student from each grade level that reads the most books
will also receive a free book from the fair.
 
Outreach Center Roller Skating Fundraiser: TONIGHT!!!
Indian Lake Roll arena,  6-8 pm
$3 admission and if you don't have skates, rental is $3
100% of all the admission sales will go directly to the programs and activities
at the Neighborhood Outreach Centers. Please come out and support this
wonderful program.

Attention 5th and 6th graders who want to cheer. You will be practicing with
the High School cheerleaders to learn a new cheer and dance routine to 
perform at a high school basketball game on Friday February 7th.  Forms are
in the office. Please have the forms turned in by Jan 27th.

8th graders:
5th quarter is this Friday after the High School Basketball game.
They will be playing black light volleyball and have an ice cream sundae bar.

Find great deals on dresses for Prom, Homecoming, dresses for little girls or sell
your dresses. Free admittance-open to the public
Visit our vendors to rent a tux, book hair/nail appointments, order flowers
Sponsored by the ILHS Class of 2021. Sellers: $5 fee per dress, you determine
the price of the dress and keep the sale price. Dress drop off is from 9-10am
Pick-up money or unsold items at 12:15pm

The 8th grade volleyball team was in action last night against Graham.  The lakers won in 3 sets.  Paige Mefford led the team with 8 points with 6 aces, Stephanie Altstaetter, Allison Kinney, and Jalan Martin each added 7 points.  Allison Kinney had 8 kills,  Stephanie Alstaetter had 2 kills, Jalan Martin and Elayna Richardson added 1 point.  The volleyball team will be hosting a Pink Out game tomorrow at 5:30.  Come out and support the lakers fight against cancer.
