ILMS 8th graders were out in the real world today exploring many different types of jobs. After having to do virtual interviews last year, they were able to resume job shadowing this school year.
Students chose from a variety of occupations such as welder, construction worker, cosmetologist, teacher, veterinarian, farmer, physical therapist, law enforcement, heavy machine operator, chef and more!!
8th grade educators say this annual job shadowing day is a great way to encourage students to interact with members of the community. In fact, today could shape the future for some students!
