Spirit Week themes are:

A reminder for any Builders Club member that wants to buy a t-shirt, money 
is due to Mrs. Berg by tomorrow.

Student council applications are in the office for anyone that would like to join.
Please pick one up during your lunch or before/after school. 5th/6th grades will
elect one member per homeroom. 7th/8th grades will elect 5 members per
grade level. Elections will be at the end of this week. 7th/8th grade turn in your
applications into Mrs. Taylor. 5th/6th grade turn in your applications to your home
room teachers.

The 3rd annual Pink Out game will be on September 27th when Indian Lake
takes on Bellefontaine in varsity football.Pink out forms to order shirts for the
game are available in the school office. $7 from each shirt supports Logan 
County Cancer society. In addition there is information to order on line boxes for
scoreboard dedications.
Shirts are short sleeved and pink this year!!

8th grade girls volleyball defeated Urbana last night 25-5 and 25-10. They are
now 9-3 and play at Kenton on Saturday. The team was led by Madison 
Brentlinger with 3 kills and 5 aces, Porscha Davis with 3 kills and 2 aces, Katie
Roby with 1 kill and 6 aces.

7th grade volleyball team rolled past Urbana 25-15, 25-13. Halle Roby had 5
aces and a kill. Abigail Elliott had 4 aces and a kill. Adeline Robinson had 2 
aces.  Addison Stinemetz and Geona Spires each added an ace. Playing strong
defensively were Hannah Stidham and Kenzie Dixon. They are back action on
Saturday at Kenton. Reminder no practice tonight, meet at the float between
5:30 and 6.

The 8th grade volleyball team was in action last night against Graham.  The lakers won in 3 sets.  Paige Mefford led the team with 8 points with 6 aces, Stephanie Altstaetter, Allison Kinney, and Jalan Martin each added 7 points.  Allison Kinney had 8 kills,  Stephanie Alstaetter had 2 kills, Jalan Martin and Elayna Richardson added 1 point.  The volleyball team will be hosting a Pink Out game tomorrow at 5:30.  Come out and support the lakers fight against cancer.
