The ILMS Guys in Ties are learning all about a recent holiday business phenomenon!
Local businessman Jason Monfort joined the guys for a recent lunch meeting. Monfort's family owns several McDonald's restaurant locations in western Ohio, including the Indian Lake McDonald's. Monfort described some of the challenges that they worked through during the recent wildly popular Grinch Meal promotion, including nearly running out of some food products. Several of the guys had already tried the Grinch Meal and have the socks to prove it!
Monfort gave the guys his six tips for success including choosing to work hard, choosing to have a good attitude, choosing to always be polite, displaying gratitude, always having discipline and smiling. He cautioned that being on your phone or device too much is a distraction that can impede success. Great advice!
Guys in Ties is a voluntary lunch time group for sixth grade boys that meets a few times a month to discuss manners, behaviors and habits of respected individuals. It is led by sixth grade teacher Mr. Chris Burden.
