ILMS students were treated to a Candy Bar Sale Kick Off and Basketball Challenge to end the week! The 2025 ILMS Candy Bar sale is officially underway. Students learned about the incentives they could earn if they sell several bags. Each bag has 10 crunch, 10 caramel, 5 peanut butter and 5 almond candy bars. Sales run through March 5th. ILMS Co-Principal Erin Miller revealed to the crowd that if students sell 1400 bags, they will earn a Pickle Ball Court!!
1 bag-homework pass, 2 bags-movie at high school, 4 bags- snow cone treat, 6 bags- gift card to local restaurant, 8 bags- Gathering Grounds treat, 10 bags- Laker Gear, 12 bags- Bowling field trip, 15 bags- Sumo wrestling plus grade level prizes and Wal-Mart cards to top sellers in each grade.
After the candy bar announcements, the staff faced off against the 8th Grade Boys Basketball Team in their annual challenge. The staff won the 3-point contest, while the 8th grade team won the Hot Shot and Knock Out Challenges.
