T-shirts will be delivered to your school. The game will take place at 7pm at the Laker Stadium on October 4th.

The 7th grade Lady Lakers won in 2 sets against the Lady Hillclimbers; 25-15 & 25-18! The team collectively served up 11 aces, put down 10 kills, and picked up 5 digs. This win gives the 7th grade volleyball team an overall record of 10-0, and 7-0 in the CBC! 


The 8th grade volleyball team lost to Urbana last night in two sets: 16-25, 24-26.

Audra Harford was 6/6 serving with three aces, four hits, one kill and one dig. Claire Tidwell went 3/3 serving with one ace, 12/14 hitting with six kills, two digs and one block. Kyler Corruther went 6/7 serving with two aces, 7/8 on serve receive and one dig. Layna Nessler was 3/3 serving with three hits, one kill and three digs. Lux Kipker served up five points with five hits, one kill and one dig. Piper Robinson went 5/6 serving with four aces, five hits and one block. Audree Titus had three hits and one kill. Taylor Duff went 4/4 serving with two hits and Makayle Clary and Ayla Brentlinger both had three digs.
The Lakers will back at home on Wednesday when they take on Bellefontaine.

The 5th Grade Band Meeting will be this Thursday at 5:30p in the Media Center. All the information about being in band and getting an instrument will be at this meeting. It is important at least one parent or guardian attends this meeting.

The IL 8th grade volleyball team pulled out the win against a fierce Kenton Ridge team on Saturday. The Lakers won in three hard sets: 25-22, 23-25, 25-20.

Audra Harford went 13/14 serving with three aces, 5/7 on serve receive with one hit and 13 digs. Lux Kipker went 13/15 serving with four aces, 3/3 on serve receive with four hits, one kill and six digs. Taylor Duff went 7/8 serving with one ace, 14/16 on serve receive, 11/11 hitting with three kills and seven digs. Layna Nessler went 6/8 serving with two aces, 7/7 on serve receive, 10/12 hitting with two kills and nine digs. Makayle Clary went 4/5 serving with two aces, 5/7 on serve receive with one hit and nine digs. Ayla Brentlinger served up five points with one ace, 11/11 on serve receive with one kill and 10 digs. Piper Robinson was 4/4 serving with three aces, 9/12 hitting with one kill, one dig and one block. Claire Tidwell was 2/2 serving and 24/26 hitting with seven kills and one dig. Mary Archer was 5/6 hitting with three kills and Karlee Purtee was 4/5 hitting with one kill.

The Lakers will travel to Urbana on Monday to take on the Hillclimbers .

Ignite Student Ministries have moved nights to Sunday from 6-8pm at The Lookout Youth Center. All middle and high school students are invited to attend. 
The after school program at The Lookout Youth Center will resume today after school until 5pm. The Lookout is open on Mondays and Thursdays for all middle and high school students. Check with the front office for busing info.
